SYNOPSIS Paul’s life is turned upside down the day his wife suddenly disappears. After a year of fruitless searching, Paul is a broken man, haunted by doubt and guilt. Perhaps his only chance left is to return to his roots: he moves back to his childhood town with his two children. But here, unexpected events give their own twist to this new beginning.

BIOGRAPHY Director
As an adolescent, Jalil Lespert accompanied hisfather to an audition after which both he and his father were cast as fatherand son in Laurent Cantet’s short feature “Jeux de Plages” (1995). He thendecided to abandon his studies in Law to pursue a career in acting and achievedfame after starring in Laurent Cantet’s first long feature “Ressourceshumaines” which earned him the César for best male breakthrough performance. In2007, after a prolific turn as an actor, he moved behind the camera to directhis first long feature “24 mesures” which starred Benoît Magimel and which waspresented at Venice. In 2011, after starring in Jean-Christophe Klotz’s “Lignesde Front” and in the acclaimed Canal + television show “Pigalle la nuit”,Lespert returned to film directing, and cast again his “24 mesures’s” leadingman Benoît Magimel in the poignant family drama “Des Vents contraires”.
